My Granny Lien awarded!

My Granny Lien, a youth documentary by Annelies de Wit, has won a prize today at the Medina del Campo Filmfestival in Spain.

The film was awarded with the Youth Award and with a Special Mention by the official jury.

It is not the first time that My Granny Lien has won an award. Earlier in 2012 a children's jury of the festival La Matatena Mexico assigned the movie with the first prize for Best Documental. The documentary was also nominted in 2012 for the Grosse Klappe of the Doxs! Duisburger Filmwoche, Germany.
