Dedicated to Dance (2015)

Voor de dans - Dedicated to Dance is a short dance film about the rehearsal process of dance company LeineRoebana. In the intimacy of the dance studio director Peter Delpeut captures the reflective rehearsing of the dancers. The film is a choreography of faces, a play of glances: introvert, intense, gamely, concentrated, intimate, extravert, provocative. This story of the reflecting dancer may be seen as a portrait of a wayward dance company as well as an homage to choreographers Andrea Leine and Harijono Roebana.

Viewings
