Carine Bijlsma is following a group of teenagers, at a highschool in Holland, during a music workshop that is given by an association named Yo! Opera.
During a period of 5 days of 1 and a half our the children learn to sing, to make music and to write lyrics. For most of the children it is the first time to make music and although they are afraid and nervous they try to let their voices speak and to be heard.
This film gives you an impression of the everyday reality, self-confidence and the luck that music brings.
This film is made with the support of NPS and Prince Bernhard Culture Fund.
